As Trump’s inauguration approaches, and in the spirit of the giving season, SURJ Bay Area is conducting a multi-platform fundraising movement throughout the month of December. In the next #12DaysToShowUp, you can show up by donating to SURJ and our partners, by volunteering your time, and by educating yourself and others about how white people can and must show up for racial justice. If you do not have the means to give, please pass this message along to others who share your concerns.

SURJ is a national network of groups and individuals that organizes white people for racial justice. We work to move white people as part of a multi-racial majority to work for justice with passion and accountability.

For this campaign, we commit over 50% of funds raised to our partner POC-lead organizing efforts without condition. The rest goes to education, mobilization and outreach in the Bay Area and around the country--especially in red states, swing states, and rural areas.

Donate to SURJ in the next 12 days to help us educate and mobilize white folks at a time when their alliance with POC is most crucial. If you’re able to support us this December, we ask that you split or match your donation directly to one of our POC-led partner organizations as well.
